Digital :D

So for this assignment we had to show diversity and apply our school into the photo by representing the arts.For my idea I decided to have shown the Dance department the Music department and the Visual department. To me this picture is really interesting because it looks like a band shot in a way, I aso like the background to this shoot because its not near the buildings of scpa its more in the back of scpa and it shows more of a urban jungle like view. I like how there so close together but far enough to see what each individual is doing. We have Kim Garner as a Dancer, Tashia Williams as the Musician and we have Ariaan Hadge as a photographer. Some of the things I dont like about this picture is the fact that I forgot to have a guy in this picture, How can I show diversity with out a male model? Another down disappointment in this picture is the lighting in Kim's face its not being lighten well enough. If I noticed when I was taking this shot that her face wasnt being lit enough I would have her positioned her a little closer and have her facing a little towards me but not directly at me, more of a sense that its rather whats behind me. Maybe a little more spacing between Kim and Tashia would be more nice as well cause her hand is going through her head and Im pretty sure when I shot with film I have her a little more away from Tashia and her hand being raised more. Even though this is a digital shot, the assignment was to have it in black and white, Im hoping when the picture is printed it will look as good as this shoot if not hopefully better.

Photoshop softning picture project blahhhh :D

So for this assignment we had to get our brush picture and soften it with photoshop but since I had procrastinated on this assignment I had to use another persons photo to soften because some how My original was deleted off the computer it was originally on. So I had ask permission from Ms Miles to re do it and she just said to ask a friend and do it on their photo and I had ask Jazmin (Jasmin?) for hers and I still rememberd how to soften a Bit but a little help from another student cause I had forgotten some of the steps. I have read the tutorial along the way it was hard at first but then I eventually got it :)
